Barceló Bávaro Palace

The Barceló Bávaro Palace hotel, which was opened in 1993, is located inside the Barceló Bávaro Beach Resort alongside 4 other hotels.

ROOMS: The Palace hotel has 558 rooms including 27 suites and 9 master suites. All rooms have air condition, satellite television, mini bar, coffee maker, telephone, safe deposit box, 1 or 2 beds and a fully equipped bathroom with hair dryer. In addition, all rooms have a balcony with a view of one of the most beautiful beaches in the Dominican Republic, the tropical gardens or the swimming pool. 

ACTIVITIES: Choose between many of the daytime activities to make your day fun and exciting. Play a game of tennis at one of the 8 tennis courts or have a game of basketball, football, baseball or volleyball on the beach. At the beach you can relax with a nice massage or have fun with the non-motorized water sports. If you feel like spoiling yourself, go to the beauty salon and treat yourself to a manicure/pedicure or facial treatment.

RESTAURANTS & BARS: As a guest at the Palace hotel you have the ability to use all of the resorts 16 bars and 15 restaurants. Choose between 5 buffet restaurants with a large variety of food (chicken, pasta, meats, fish, soup, salads, etc.) as well as Dominican, Rice, Seafood, BBQ, Mexican, Italian, Steakhouse and grill. For an additional charge, you may use the French and Spanish gourmet restaurants. If you are in the mood for a snack during the day, you can pick up a delicious pizza or a sandwich at the 2 take-away places. In the evening you can enjoy a drink in one of the 5 bars located at the Palace hotel, sit back and let yourself be entertained by the hotel’s animations team and their musical show, go dancing at the disco or try your luck at the casino. 

GOLF: Golfers staying at the Palace hotel have 3 rounds included per week at the resort’s own 18-hole (par 72) golf course. The Bávaro golf course is situated in an exiting landscape, perfectly integrated inside the hotel complex. The Bávaro golf course was designed by Juan Manuel Gordillo Aubert and was established in 1991 as the first in the Punta Cana area. Golf carts are mandatory before 2:00 p.m. and cost US$ 35.00 per cart. Range balls can be purchased for US$ 5.00 for 50 balls. Golf clubs can be rented. 

MEETING AND BANQUETS: Groups and companies who want to have meetings and conferences will be able to enjoy the large and comfortable facilities of the Barceló Bávaro Convention Center – the largest and most well equipped convention center in the Caribbean. The convention center has a total of 24 meeting rooms which can host up to 5.000 people. The convention center offers a large variety of services at an additional charge. The services include: catering, thematic banquets, gala dinners (buffet or plated), audio-visual equipment, business center with internet access, fax, etc., flower shop, stage specialist, orchestra, professional entertainers, secretaries, security, heliport parking, areas for expositions, etc. 

WEDDINGS: Barceló Bavaro Beach Resort has a long tradition with weddings and honeymooners; the resort is an ideal place to celebrate weddings, both catholic and civil. For all catholic weddings the resort has a beautiful chapel over a lake and with incredible views. For civil weddings there are numerous places on the beach, the peer, tropical gardens and spacious saloons that are perfect for the memorable moment. The resort offers several different wedding packages all including judge and certificates. Choose between the Civil Wedding Beach Package (US$600.00), the Civil Wedding Tropical Package (US$850.00), the Boda Civil Paquete Caribbean (US$1,200.00), the Civil Wedding Deluxe Package (US$ 1,850.00) or the Catholic Wedding Special Package (US$2,200.00).
