Casa de Campo , which has been known for many years for its outstanding quality, luxury and Caribbean elegance, is located in the city of La Romana . GUEST ROOMS: At Casa de Campo your comfort is a top priority. Whether you are staying at the hotel or in one of the many villas, you will have enough room to breathe and stretch. Couples will find the hotel rooms spacious, families can enjoy the comforts of connecting rooms or a suite and larger families or groups will love the private home-like comforts of the villas. Regardless of which choice you make, you will find the friendly spirit of the Dominican hospitality and service at Casa de Campo – your home away from home. The resort includes a hotel with the following types of rooms: Superior rooms, luxury rooms and luxury suites.

The superior rooms are beautifully decorated in a warm, tropical style with touches of woven cane, mahogany furniture and delicate water colour fabrics. The superior rooms include 1 king size bed or 2 double beds, air condition, walk-in closet, safety box, iron and board, a dressing and vanity area with hair dryer, bathrobes and more, cable television, radio, telephone with voice mail and data port, mini bar, coffee maker and more. All superior rooms have a private terrace overlooking the tropical gardens. 

The luxury rooms are elegantly decorated in a Caribbean style with rich mahogany furniture, fine fabrics in soft tones and more. The luxury rooms include the same amenities as the superior rooms as well as a cosy seating area. All luxury rooms have a private terrace. 

The luxury suites are all located on the second floor of the hotel. The suites include the same features and amenities as the luxury rooms plus a romantic canopy bed, a separate living room with dining area, a queen sofa bed, 2 bathrooms (one bathroom with a master bath with marble tiles), a large whirlpool tub and a separate shower. The luxury suite can be expanded to include a connecting luxury room with 2 double beds (additional cost). 

VILLAS: Staying in one of Casa de Campo's villas is almost like having your own, private home with all the services and amenities of a luxurious hotel at your door step. Living large in one of the villas can be just as affordable as staying in one of the guest rooms or in any other resort if you estimate the cost per person. The villas are divided into 2 categories: The excel villas and the exclusive excel villas. 

The excel villas range from 3 bedrooms up to 5 bedrooms. Each villa is individually designed and decorated with comfortable furniture in a variety of charming styles. The villas include living and dining areas, a fully equipped kitchen and a whirlpool or pool. Each bedroom is air-conditioned and has a telephone, cable television and a private bathroom with hair dryer. Smoke detectors and a fire extinguisher are also included in every villa. Outside each villa there is a beautiful, tropical garden and lounging area by the whirlpool/swimming pool. As a guest in the excel villas you have your own personal maid and butler for 8 hours daily. They will make your stay even more comfortable, serve you breakfast and keep your villa sparkling clean. You also have a private golf cart to go around inside the resort (seats 4 persons) and the excel concierge at your service.

RESTAURANTS & BARS: At Casa de Campo you can expect to experience gastronomic wonders. Giving people a wonderful culinary experience has long been the trademark of Casa de Campo's restaurants. Here you will find flavours that will sure satisfy any craving combined with the outstanding service that will make each meal time a good time. At Casa de Campo you will find 8 different restaurants/snack bars: 19 th hole (snack bar at Teeth of the Dog golf course), Café del Sol (overlooking Dye Fore golf course), Chinois (Asian restaurant), Lago Grill (buffet style breakfast and lunch), El Pescador (Mediterranean restaurant), La Piazzetta (Italian restaurant), El Sombrero (Mexican restaurant), Tropicana Grill (steakhouse) and Upper Deck (pool side snack bar). During the day or in the evening you can enjoy a drink and have a good time at one of the 10 bars including the Pot Bunker sports bar, the Aqua bar, La Caña bar (live performance), Coco Mar, Polo bar, the 19 th hole (at Teeth of the Dog), The Pub (traditional English pub), Safari bar (located at the shooting centre), La Terazza bar (overlooking the tennis courts) and the Tequila bar.

ACTIVITIES: At Casa de Campo you will never feel bored with all of the daily activities for both children and adults. Whether you practice a sport or want to try something new, the resort offers many activities including tennis, trail riding, polo, bike rental, sport fishing, skeet shooting, golf, water sports and more. ALTOS DE CHAVON: If you are interested in culture and history, the 16 th century Mediterranean village of Altos de Chavon is something for you. Located high above the Chávon River , the villages is a complete replica of the past. Walk through the cobblestone streets and take in the luxurious craftsmanship of the past. Small shops, exclusive boutiques, art galleries and an archaeological museum are just a few of the interesting places to visit. The beautiful St. Stanislaus church is a popular site for weddings and special events. At the Grecian style amphitheatre, which seats approx. 5000 persons, concerts, musical shows, etc. are frequently held. In 2006 Sting and Marc Anthony were a few of the international stars who held their concerts here.

GOLF: Golf ers staying at Casa de Campo have the unique opportunity of playing some of the absolute best golf courses in the world. Casa de Campo has 3 golf courses designed by Pete Dye who many consider to be the world's most renowned golf course architect. The courses include the world's 28 th best course Teeth of the Dog, Dye Fore and the Links. All courses are a great challenge to golfers at all levels. As a guest at Casa de Campo you can make tee time reservations in advance and you will always have preferred tee times. Green fees are not included but must be purchased at an additional cost.
