The Links Golf Course The Links course, also designed by Pete Dye, has a moderately hilly track with tall bahia and guinea grass roughs as well as plenty of sand traps to keep you on your toes. Considered by some players to be reminiscent of traditional British and Scottish courses, it has several lagoons and even lakes with wading birds. On five holes the water comes into play, making it a beautiful and very challenging course. Ask any golfer who has played The Links, and they will say that this course is as challenging as Teeth of the Dog. Dominican Golf Tours invites you to play this fabulous golf course. Playa Dorada Golf Course, designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., awaits you. The course is flat conditioned, with exceptional greens, and surrounds the Playa Dorada Resort Complex in Puerto Plata, on the North coast of the Dominican Republic.
Fairways are surrounded by a 1st cut of rough from which the ball is easily played. Beyond the 1st cut you meet the ocean to the north and tropical forest to the south. Driving range and putting green next to the first tee looks great.
A unique nine hole golf course for the family with kids or singles. This golf course is located in Costambar which is a 10 minute drive from Puerto Plata. With elevated greens this course can be tricky for any golfer. Short par fours but the par threes can be a test for anyone.
