This course, one of the most beautiful in the Caribbean, was designed by the celebrated architect Robert Trent Jones Sr., on an area of more than 150 hectares (370 acres), it was inaugurated in 1997. 10 of the 18 holes are played along the seacliffs, bays and overlooking gulfs. Also spectacular is the exciting Playa Grande Beach, the most impressive of the island. The whole area will be developed over the next few years with hotels, villas, residential resorts, and sport facilities.

Golf course architect who designed and re-designed about 500 golf courses in at least 35 countries all around the world. It has been jokingly said that, "The sun never sets on a Robert Trent Jones golf course."
